It is our conviction that each member
of the body of Christ has a special role to play. Therefore
each is very valuable. We are members in particular. It is
the will of God that His body be healthy and fully equipped
to fulfill its role. It is therefore the responsibility of
church leadership to equip and empower each believer so that
they can minister effectively.
Ephesians 4:11, 12
11And He Himself gave some to be apostles, some prophets,
some evangelists, and some pastors and teachers, 12for the
equipping of the saints for the work of ministry, for the
edifying of the body of Christ,
The spiritual health of each individual will be achieved
through their participation in discipleship training,
giftedness evaluation and participation in a ministry that
best suits their respective talents. Spiritual health
requires stability, balance, involvement and opportunity for
growth. It is our goal and therefore that of every leader of
NLC to make this training, evaluation and opportunities for
service available to every person.
