Actors in Acts (Small group series with discussion) -

Too often we simplify the birth of the early church to Acts 2:38 along side the Excellent Spiritual Adventures of Peter and Paul. Actually, the book of Acts displays a fully interactive spiritual movement with many contributors, including a pastor related to Christ, women who changed their communities, a layperson whose children eclipsed the apostle's children, a key Gentile observer, and a city that was more important to early Christianity than Jerusalem. Plus, Paul's First Missionary Journey should be named after someone else! In the next six lessons we'll investigate all of these situations and more! Please join us. Facilitator: Kent Curry.

Discipleship (Small group study with discussion) -

Experiencing Spiritual Breakthroughs -- Part I: The Powerful Principle Of The Three Chairs, by Bruce Wilkinson (Book study and small group discussion) - It happens in almost every part of life. We wear down, burn out, and lose hope. While nothing is fail-safe, there are things you can do to halt the downward slide in your family. This book gives dynamic biblical solutions to people who are asking: - Why don 't I have passion in my spiritual life? - Is it still possible to restore my marriage? - Can I raise my children to be "on fire" for God? - Where do I start? Bruce Wilkinson shows how, in the midst of a society without morals, a passionate relationship with Jesus is possible -- not just a "mountaintop experience," but an everyday vibrant relationship. This small group book study will cover the first six chapters and will focus on understanding and experiencing spiritual breakthroughs. Facilitators: Jeff Tracy and others
