The Lonnie Brown family has been a part of the New Life Center church family since childhood.  Lonnie has served NLC faithfully as a church board member, trustee, and other leading roles, as well as continued involvement in New Life Christian School . 

His faithfulness, exceptional abilities and sterling Christian character continue to be an inspiration to those acquainted with Lonnie.

Lonnie Brown Donations

Greetings to the great Bible Quiz Family! 

I am writing because of an urgent need in the life of one of the greatest Christians I have ever known, Lonnie Brown.  Bro. Brown dedicated himself to the quiz ministry for 38 years in many roles – from coach to Assistant North American Quiz Master.

Unfortunately, Bro. Brown has been battling pancreatic cancer for the past nine months.  Because pancreatic cancer responds very poorly to chemo and radiation, he has chosen to work with a doctor who has had repeated success by combining a rigorous nutritional protocol, detoxification program, and cutting-edge immune-boosting therapies.  Unfortunately, none of these non-toxic alternative treatments are covered by insurance.  For the next three months, these treatments will cost around $38,000.

Like Sister Walker and me, I knew you would want to send a meaningful card with a generous donation to help.  I thought (1) churches whose youth have been blessed by Brother Brown, (2) quiz teams doing a specific fund raiser, as well as (3) individuals whose lives have been touched by him, would all want to contribute to this important cause.
