The Bible Quizzing Ministry is comprised of adults overseeing two teams - Beginner and Junior (age <12) and Senior (age 12 to 19) – of young people in study and memorization of scriptures as designated by the General Sunday School and Youth Divisions of the UPCI. NLC quizzers meet with adult mentors on a regular basis during the quizzing season (November through June) for review of verses learned, encouragement, and general assistance at regularly scheduled practices, and then compete against other church teams to test their knowledge of the material. All participating adults are encouraged to attend tournaments to show support of our Bible quizzers.
Depending upon the outcome of Missouri District finals in June, NLC quiz teams may go on to participate in national competition in July (Beginner/Junior) or August (Senior) against Quiz teams from across the United States and Canada. Bible quizzing is a wonderful, fun way to keep young people involved in the Word of God, instilling Christian character and life-changing attitudes at an influential age.
