Several of the kids told their friends and teachers about what they are doing and learning. The week we taught on fasting the kids went home and each of them fasted something every day. Every child there that week completed the fast. When some of them were offered special outings for ice cream and rewards, they did not give in. Many of them drew pictures or shared stories of what God to them during our lessons on listening for God to speak to them – they confirmed that God to them when they took time to listen.
We had several guests during the program that the children brought and had several prayer times that God’s presence was intense and the children were touched and interceding.
Randomly throughout each session we would have the kids do a “Drop-n-Give-Me-Twenty” break when for twenty seconds they would drop to their knees and pray to God about whatever we were talking on or whatever God laid on their hearts.
