"Praying for the Fuller family. Many fond memories of Bro Fuller, one that stands out is sharing crawfish with him at Texas Camp while setting up the book display. A mighty man has finished his course."

Bro. Robert H. Fuller was a gifted teacher, a kind mentor and a warm friend. His voice was clear and bright, He was the Canadian Cardinal! At Gateway College he took the time to explain a biblical concept and then would smile and many times be that example.
He was a doer, a worker and always willing to help lend a hand. On a cold cloudy afternoon outside of St. Charles,
Missouri, I desperately needed some one to assist me hang a piece of aluminum gutter for a house I was working on. I lived in the married student housing at Gateway College at the time. I saw Bro. Fuller’s Lincoln parked in his spot. He was there on campus many times after classes were dismissed. I went to his office and he would always greet me with that big warm smile. “Christopher Black”, he responded “What is it you need?” Before I could say a word he knew. I told him of my need of a helper, he paused and then looked at the clock and said “let’s go”! He took off his tie and I remember thinking what a great friend! We started up our separate ladders and just before we got the gutter in place to nail each side it started to pour down RAIN! Bro. Fuller looked through the rain at me 30’ across the gutter and just started LAUGHING! I started laughing and we hung that gutter in a pouring rain on a cold afternoon and felt warm inside! We were soaked but finished the job. The home owner paid me and Bro. Fuller helped me at a time when my young wife and I were in need. How I still remember that day all these 27 years
later! Thank you, Bro.Fuller for taking the time to be a friend and Christian to me. I will miss your insight but so look forward to seeing you again over there.
